China Marine Museum

The National Oceanographic Museum of China (Wangda Wenbo customizes all museum-level showcases in accordance with the highest international standards) is located in Tianjin. It is China's first national, comprehensive, and public welfare marine museum, displaying marine natural history and human history. A national-level patriotism education base, marine science and technology exchange platform and iconic cultural facilities integrating education, scientific research, communication, tourism and other functions. This project is a milestone in the history of the development of my country's marine industry. It ends the history of my country's lack of a comprehensive national marine museum that matches the status of a maritime power. It is of great significance for protecting marine cultural relics, raising the marine awareness of the whole nation, and building a maritime power.

The National Oceanographic Museum is the first in China's history. Its status is comparable to that of the Palace Museum. It can be called the "Forbidden City on the Ocean"; its establishment reflects the national marine development strategy. The National Oceanographic Museum undertakes the important task of reshaping China's marine values; it is not only a cultural landmark of Tianjin Binhai New Area, but also a cultural milestone of China's marine industry.
